What do you do with the last quarter of the year?

Is it time to crush it so that you finish strong or is it the time to create the launch pad for the next year?

This is a good question. In the next 89 days, what can your business do to finish strong? As we look towards 2022, we want to ensure that we're leaving our business in a good place and not trying to pull it together at the very last minute.

The first thing you should do is an evaluation of your company's strengths and weaknesses. What can be done better? What is something you could automate? Is there a new technology out there that you need to know about? Try to find the answers to these questions and answer them for yourself.

That isn't all! Set up an event where you can meet with your employees and your advisors to talk about what they think needs improvement. This is a great way for everyone to contribute their own personal thoughts on what could be improved.

Now, take this information and make a plan! Based on what you wrote down and the information from your employees and advisors, try to come up with strategies for the 3-5 things you want to improve on for 2022.

The second thing is to have a good marketing strategy. You want to put your best face forward, so it's a good idea to have a marketing strategy of what you're going for and how you're going to get there. For example, if you're doing social media ads, having a plan on what channels you're going to use and where is your ideal customer is hanging out.

Crete a calendar for posting with clear calls to actions. Not every post should sell them but to get them to engage in a comment, a download or to share it. Training your future customer to with a little yes will make it easier when you ask for the big yes.

The third thing is being willing to change. You have to evolve with the market or your competitors are going to eat you up! If there are some changes that you need to make, thinking about how you can do so in a way that works for you and your customer will be instrumental.

All businesses today should have a digital presence. That is not just having a website but to have a way that they can stay in contact with you, make follow up purchases, try out different offers, and a way that you can provide extra value to them. Online engagement is a huge opportunity to make new clients and keep the ones that you already have. Hopefully, 2022 has a digital product coming for your business.

These are just three important things that should be focused on in the next few months. How are you going to finish 2021 strong? Let us know in the comments below!
